KUNDALINI YOGA known as the yoga of awareness is a powerful dynamic form of yoga that will rejuvenate, invigorate, and elevate you on every level, no matter what your current level of fitness or experience may be.
YIN YOGA works in a very different way from any other Yang practice. Yang practice is associated with repetition of strengthening and stretching the muscles ie gym work, lifting weights, running, viniyasa yoga and ashtanga yoga. With yin yoga you are working on the deep connective tissue known as the faschia tissue that surrounds the joints and the bones. This deep tissue is rarely accessed with other forms of yoga and yang exercise and is wonderful for tight hips and lower back. The journey into these postures is prepared with long slow breath awareness and each posture is held for up to 3 minutes. This is a powerful tool to opening and releasing the hips and lower back. Working on this connective tissue has a profound effect on the joints and the bones, which can become stressed over the years. The combination of Kundalini and Yinyoga is a liberating and transformational experience on every level.
