Is it Windy in Lanzarote?
Like on any ocean island, it can be windy at times although the ambient temperature is such that ocean breezes are refreshingly welcome. Climate Information
Does it ever rain?
Rain has been rare in Lanzarote in history although in recent times with climatic change underway, we have seen variations on standard patterns. There can be occasional rainfall in the winter although the norm is blue sky with intermittent fluffy clouds. Should it rain one day, there is plenty to see on the island, and there is no reason it should detract from your overall enjoyment. From a yoga point of view on the rare occasions when weather is inclement we hold the session indoors.
Is it humid in Lanzarote?
In the summer it can be a bit muggy in the absence of the sea breezes but as a rule the climate is not humid, although the evenings are generally cooler by comparison.
What’s the weather like in Winter
The Canarian winter is one of the best times to come as it is still very summery but not so potentially excessively hot. There can be occasional rainfall in the winter although the norm is blue sky with intermittent fluffy clouds. It can be cool in the evenings, but you can still sit outside with a warm top.
