We are not responsible for flights associated with holiday cancellations or indeed any implications of flight delays or flight cancellations. Your travel insurance must cover you for any loss. We host group sizes from from 1 to 12 people and enjoy a happy atmosphere. In the interests of client welfare, we reserve the right to insist any person(s), who, by our determination, exhibit disruptive, antisocial or negative attitude behaviour, leave the villa on demand, without refund or alternative provision.

Discounts The web site shows details of any discounts and/or special offers. We reserve the right to withdraw discounts at certain times

Programme. The week’s programme is varied according to the particular group. We reserve the right to amend the course programme, contents, location and the facilitators thereon for whatever reason. Brochures are provided as a guide but for latest information consult our web site. In the unlikely event of inclement weather, yoga will be held in the villa. There is no special outdoor covered area. Guests are required to conform to the house rules.

Menus are based on healthy vegetarian fare, sometimes with fish or chicken. Wine is not included but can be bought at the villa. We will do our best to accommodate essential diet requirements notified and agreed in advance.

Rooms Accommodation is based on a shared room, so it is ideal if you book with a friend/ partner. If you are prepared to share, we will try to match you with a suitable same-sex roommate. We have a limited number of single rooms but you can book a twin room with a single surcharge, for sole occupancy. Rooms are not identical. Double rooms have ensuite bathrooms. The 2 single rooms share one bathroom but also have access to another. Room changing is allowed if all parties concerned are willing. The villa has stunning views but bedrooms do not have sea views, with exception of single rooms. Details of rooms is displayed on the internet.

Upgrades At our discretion, in the interests of simplified logistics we may upgrade your booking. For operational reasons this is at our discretion, and not your option, although you will receive a higher value accommodation should this happen. You may still share with a same-sex roommate if your original booking was to share. You may still have to share if you book on a prepared to share basis, despite prior indications of occupancy. There may be last minute arrivals who have booked to share your room. Upgrades are the good fortune of the recipient and there is no effect on the price paid by other guests.

Villa Access and Transport. Villa Isis is located in a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Tías village. The villa is not on the beach, the nearest being a 10-minute drive. As buses are sporadic and serve limited locations, for maximum enjoyment and flexibility, we recommend access to your own hire car whether you book it in advance or wait to make a shared arrangement. For maximum flexibility, your car can be delivered to the villa and left at the airport on your return. The calling of taxis to the villa is not straightforward and there is not a taxi calling service. We will meet you at the airport and transport you to the villa. If you need a lift back to the airport, we will help, depending on our schedule. If you rent a car outside our system we cannot guarantee to wait for you and you will have to find your own way back to the villa.

Noise and Booze With very few exceptions, our guests come to Villa Isis to rest and recuperate. For the maximum rejuvenation and well-being, we recommend a modest alcohol intake and a sensible sleep pattern. We discourage late social forages, whether on foot or with a car, since they disturb guests, neighbours staff and animals alike.  Guests are required to minimise any noise after 11pm. If teachers are disturbed after midnight, the yoga class may be cancelled for the whole group, on the following day, without refund. We cannot accept any pets at the Villa.

Health. It is obligatory that you state any health matters on the booking form which may, in the opinion of a doctor, have a bearing on your taking part in any therapies we offer. If in doubt, clear with your doctor and obtain his/her written consent to participate in any activities available on the holiday. Discuss any concerns, with Lynne Oliver and the session yoga teacher in confidence, in advance. Furthermore while care is taken to ensure safe practice in the therapies, we are not liable for any injury, discomfort or accident howsoever caused and require that your insurance is comprehensive in this respect. In certain cases Lynne or Stuart may recommend that a guest does not subscribe to a particular therapy or posture. If they then do so without regard to this advice, we are not liable for any consequences whatsoever. If an exercise produces discomfort, desist immediately and consult the teacher. The nature of our villa, with its various stairs and steps is not suitable for disabled access. Use of the pool after drinking alcohol is not allowed.

Smoking is absolutely not permitted anywhere in the villa, and if you smoke in the grounds, we require that ash and butts are properly disposed in a rubbish bin. We reserve the right to make a fumigation charge of €100, if, in our opinion, an occupant creates an atmosphere unacceptable to a following guest. Smoking is also not allowed at  tables while others are likely to be eating.

Valuables. We cannot be responsible for safekeeping or loss of your valuables and encourage you to leave expensive items at home.

Numbers We cannot guarantee or predict the number of guests on any given week. You may choose a week resulting in a full house, or any number of guests down to one other or, unusually, even being the sole guest. While you would nearly always expect to have other people staying with you, we make no guarantee as to the number or status of other guests.

Accounts, Charges incurred for food, drinks, products or services are added to your account for payment in €uros at the end of the holiday. A trust system operates with your co-operation.

B&B,
Our tariff is calculated on one of the above bases as explained on our web site. The HO2 Tariff includes extra meals, therapies and a walk. If these are not taken as listed there is no refund. There is no provision to exchange therapies from the published list, except by an agreed alternative therapy by the original therapist.. If you book on B&B you are still committing to staying in a holistic retreat and respect the behaviour items mentioned earlier in these terms, particularly in the context of not disturbing others by late returns to the villa or general noise after 11pm. The idea of B&B is to allow you choose your own therapy schedule, later, on arrival and not just a tariff for accommodation without joining into the therapies and processes enjoyed by HO2 formula guests. If you just want a place to stay without joining into the overall schedule, you may be better advised to reconsider coming to Villa Isis. Breakfast is served for everyone together, after the yoga is finished.

In taking part in the course, you are effectively confirming that you are not of a disposition whereby revisiting situations in your life is likely to cause you any lasting emotional discomfort.

EcoLifeWalks Terms Continued

Course Membership EcoLifeWalks and its component activities are designed to be enjoyed either by individual guests or by a group. We cannot determine in advance what the size of the course membership may be and furthermore state that the essence of this type of holiday is in the personal time with the facilitator and on location in attractive and uplifting environment places. While there may be an element of socialising with anyone else who may be on the course or in the hotel this is not guaranteed or a dedicated objective of the week. From time to time a course may run with a single guest. This is an advantage, since the single person enjoys the whole focus and may be able to indicate a preference in the staging of the various options available. By the same token, we do not charge extra for anyone who attends a course where they are the only member.

Availabilty. We rely on outside sources to provide components of our package, for example in the case of hotels, therapies, yoga, transport, surfing, restaurants et al. In most cases a substitute will be available but it is beyond our control if an element or elements of the week become unavailable before a firm confirmation is made. If you strongly require a certain option be available, then you should indicate in advance, so we can check specifically if availability is likely. Even then events beyond our control, such as weather, sickness, or other personal indisposition do not allow us to guarantee options. We rely on the indications and availability of our suppliers. We require that you insure against all risks and situations that may cause you to be deprived of any part of your holiday.

Programme. The week’s programme is varied according to the particular group. We reserve the right to amend the course programme, contents, location and the facilitators thereon for whatever reason.

Hotels. We obtain a group rate from our selected hotel(s) and pass this on to our guests complete with local taxes. Hotels sometimes arrange promotional activities that can be cheaper than even the group rate. We quote our prices with and without accommodation so it is your responsibility to make sure you are happy with the hotel rate. Further more our Group rate may have inclusive concessions that promotion prices do not have. We are not responsible for refunds in the event of your finding an apparently cheaper hotel price for the same facilities subsequently. We reserve the right to offer other hotel accommodation should the advertised choice be unavailable, with adjustmwent of any price difference on the accommodation component.

Suitability. EcoLifeWalks detail is on our web site at www.ecolifewalks.com and it also describes who the course is suitable for. The nature of the content, that we introduce is now widespread but may still challenge certain belief systems.  We state that you need to be open minded, and capable of feeling balanced emotions, until you can verify the workings of the energy processes yourself. You should familiarise yourself with the content of the course and be clear that you wish to take part. In most cases, although by no means guaranteed, clients gain insights and or breakthroughs into their lives. If you attend the course / holiday week without the required degree of open mindedness or emotional accessability, then we assume you are attending out of technical interest with a view to examining changes you may make in your life later, when you are ready. Should you decide to come on the course despite the above above, then that is your decision and there is no refund of payment, even if you choose not to continue with the course. This is written only on account of one person out of all the attendees who signed up for the course without fully realising the content, which it later transpired was not acceptable to his static belief system.

Cancellations. We need immediate notice by E-mail and telephone if you wish to cancel a booking and this needs to be confirmed by us. You agree to take out insurance covering cancellation, however caused, as well as medical and other personal loss. If you cancel before 8 weeks, we retain the deposit, Between 4 and 8 weeks, we retain 50%, between 11 and 28 days, we retain 75%, less than 11 days, we retain 100% Exceptionally we may arrange for you to come on a different date, on payment of a rearrangement fee.

Travel. While we will point you to air travel providers, you arrange and are responsible for your own flights and transfers to and from the arrival airport. Your insurance should cover all matters relating to flights delays and cancellations.
