- Are the shops worth a visit in Lanzarote?
As you would expect, there are a lot of shops aimed at tourists but there are some interesting new retail emporia as a lot of our guests have testified. Retail Therapy is available. Electronic goods can be a lot cheaper so long as you know what you want and what the UK prices are. You can save 25-30%. Most things are a lot cheaper than northern Europe.
- Is it worth buying duty free goods?
It is still possible to buy duty free goods on the plane to Lanzarote although, ironically you can buy duty free goods cheaper in the big supermarkets. Be careful of tourist shops that base their prices on the northern Europe norms. Ask at the Villa before making special purchases.
- Where can I get a beach towel?
Either in the Village or in Puerto del Carmen, the nearest tourist resort. If you like Disney characters, Island Maps or holiday art, you will be easily supplied. Seekers of plain towels should allow a little longer search time!
- What is the currency in Lanzarote?

Yes extensively.

Yes, all electronic goods can be a lot cheaper than the UK but you must know the specification and UK price you have to beat. Not all the latest models will be here yet. Check with Stuart for best shops
