Lynne Says:

  • I decided to incorporate a personal trainer into our programme and am delighted to welcome Mitch who has been my personal trainer for the last 5 months.
  • For those of you who work out in a gym, how do you know that you are training correctly for your own age and heart rate? Have you any idea how dangerous it can be not to monitor your progress or regression?
  • How many times when you are in the gym do the staff come and check that you are working correctly?
  • Are you bored with the gym and not getting results?
  • Did you think that 100 sit ups will give you a flat stomach?
  • Mitch is a true professional who really "knows his stuff"!
  • He visits 3 times a week. On Friday he comes to the villa to give an introduction to personal training.
  • He demonstrates the core stability bosu training ball from the States, boxercise, medicine ball work, and other strengthening exercises. Strongly recommended to all our clients, you will discover a lot about how to improve your fitness levels, with Mitchs personal care and attention.
  • One to one sessions are available on Monday and Tuesday and Mitch will also organise a training programme for you to take home.
  • This is fun and good for all levels of fitness. Helps with stress levels, lowering blood pressure and improving your overall fitness.
  • You will also be surprised what you may  discover about your own body!
  • Don't miss Mitch. He is great! He is my special treat twice a week!

We have added Personal Training as a natural extension of our portfolio of enjoyable therapies dedicated to your continuing well-being.

As usual we thoroughly vet our therapists and three of us have undergone extensive training with Mitch and are delighted to welcome him aboard, not just for his knowledge and qualifications but also as someone who will motivate you and you will enjoy working with.

Mitch will give you a Life and Health Assessment and recommend from a combination of

  • A Personal Customised Fitness Programme
  • Stabilisation, Balance and Agility Training
  • Stress and Relaxation Techniques
  • Rehabilitiation Exercise
  • Enhanced Self Defence Techniques
  • BOSU Ball Training
  • Boxercise
  • Aqua Attack in the HoHo Pool
  • Kick Box

How does BOSU work? First of all, it takes balance and wakes up all the dormant muscles. The BOSU trains your body and mind while integrating balance and cardiovascular tarining. On the unstable surface of the BOSU, you are increasing sensory input, which engages and improves motor skills, kinaesthetic awareness and balance. Core strength training is improved, while standing on the BOSU, or isolated in specific, abdominal and back exercises
