“Lanzarote a Caballo
(Lanzarote on Horseback) sets out to rediscover the island in a different way: on horseback. Everyone can enjoy in even if, as is very often the case, it’s their very first time on a horse. For the very enthusiastic we provide beginner´s classes in both riding and horse-jumping in the centre’s own paddock.

See also an amazing Horse Riding Holiday in Northern Spain, through historic towns and beautiful scenery, retracing the route of St James to Santiago de Compostella.

Jacobeo a Caballo invites you to an experience of a life time, riding a horse along the Way of St James, the pilgrims route to Santiago de Compostela in the North West of Spain.

You will visit seven historic towns; experiencing their traditions, while enjoying natural organic food. Travel through some of Spain’s most stunning tranquil and unspoiled landscapes mounted on one of our fourteen thoroughbred Spanish horses with all necessary equipment for your memorable journey.

Your steed will take you through plains, forests, monuments, art and cultural centres, places of historical interest, never far from delicious Spanish cuisine culminating in the arrival at Santiago de Compostela. Our expeditions comprise groups of 6 people accompanied by specialist staff and a vehicle for luggage.

The first route will be from Ribedeo to Santiago de Compostela, taking seven days and eight nights whereas the second; from Carrion de los Condes Palencia to Santiago de Compostela will last ten days and eleven nights.

We also organize other routes eg.. Via de la planta, camino English, Portuguese Road, North Road, Camino Primitivo, Camino Finisterre - Muxia.

If you don’t fancy the saddle we can offer you a more comfortable conveyance in a horse drawn carriage. Either way, you will be moved by the beautiful environment and romantic settings.

We realise, as a pilgrimage you may see this as a spiritual journey interspersed with overnight stays in charming cottages and unique hotels. Don’t miss out on pampering yourself in the thermal waters of Lugo!
