What sort of clothing do I need for Yoga? Generally loose, layers with leggings. At 8.15 in the morning it may still be quite cool until the sun rises fully. Once the sun is up the temperature rises dramatically so you will need to be able to peel off a layer
Can I buy any clothing I need locally? You can buy suitable clothing at many of the local shops.
Is the attire smart or casual? Usually casual but if you like to be smart that’s OK too. There a few places where you can use the glad rags although they’re not “de rigueur”.
What do I wear in the evenings? Casual or smart/ casual. As you wish.
Is it warm in the evenings? It?s a good idea to have a warm top with you, just in case you choose to sit outside. The temperature can drop in the evenings, especially in the winter and there’s no point in ruining your evening by being a tad chilly!
Do I need to bring Boots or walking shoes? If you’re into walking it’s a good idea to have supportive footwear. You can also buy lightweight boots and trainers here for a lot less than in the UK. Suffice to say, if you’re planning on a cliff walk, sling backs with heels are not the ideal gear (although we have seen them there!!)
And the Shopping Stuff is a lot cheaper here, for example at the local ZARA prices are often less than the UK figure and un EUROS. Nearby in the Biosfera centre there is also a Mango store. Lynne and Carol are PhD’s in retail therapy and will be able to advise you. Great deals on shoes, bags and clothes generally. Electronics can be cheaper too but you have to know what you are looking for and bring a spec and prices with you for comparison
