Any of this list sound familiar? Time to take action you are in the danger zone!
- I never drink during the day
- I only drink wine
- Sometimes I can go for days without having a drink
- Sex is so much better when I have had a few drinks
- Stress at the office today was so full on that I couldn’t wait to have drink
- I only meant to have one drink….I don’t really know what happened
- I am never going to feel this bad again
- A good carbohydrate breakfast will sort out my hangover
- We always end up having an argument whenever there is booze around
- I am absolutely fine to drive. I have only had a couple of drinks.
- I got so emotional even though I had only had a couple of drinks, perhaps it was a bit more I cannot really recall.

Making the commitment is the first step and after that it just gets better and better. You do need sometimes group support in the form of AA. Counselling of your unknown and known fears that need to be addressed
Physical support in terms of understanding what goes on in the body when you drink and how it overloads the organs and supporting the mind and body through vitamin therapy, amino acids, cleansing diet, diet to help with the sugar withdrawal which will be obvious and how to avoid replacing one addiction with another. Also we must not forget the very important link to the spiritual side of our being with transformational breath work to clear the mind and the body of toxins and toxic thoughts to restore balance in the system through yoga and meditation
